Martin, yes, of course, I would be delighted to engage the CIO Council's
InterOp Committee in discussion of either or both of the opportunities
highlighted in my message to George, below.
Concerning the first opportunity, FIRM's Standards Committee is endeavoring
to craft a proposed set of standard metadata for the classification of
E-records Governmentwide.
With reference to GPEA and E-forms, it would be good to involve some of the
experts from the W3C's XForms initiative <http://www.w3.org/MarkUp/Forms/>.
Alice, let's talk about this at FIRM's E-records Standards Committee
meeting on Thursday.
