Name of Effort: DOE XML Working Group
Explanation:
The vision is to increase the rate of innovation through the growth of XML in the Energy Information Administration and the Department of Energy - through coordination, building a registry of "energy" terms, and the sharing of XML applications as they develop.
Meetings: The DOE and EIA xmlWGs will meet when the occasions arise.

How to get involved:
- Contact us and come to our meetings.
- Begin using XML and XSL.
- Take classes on XML, read about it, try to build it into your applications, develop a knowledge base of energy-related topics using a common XML.
- Help develop a DOE/EIA XML registry.
- Identify candidate and existing projects and pathways.
