Explanation: The Program Executive Office (PEO) Interchange XML Initiative aims to support and enable synergy between several Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps command and control (C2) PEOs with respect to XML use. Our supporting efforts fall into four categories: (1) Policy development and implementation (2) Program interoperability (3) Functional application integration (4) Technical demonstrations, prototypes, and architectures. Current work in progress relates to databases, messaging, functional area applications, program systems, and other information processing with XML.
