Capital’s extraordinary historical, cultural, and natural resources. Our long-range plans anticipate
the needs of the federal establishment well into the 21st century, while our shorter-term initiatives
proactively address its more immediate requirements. We conduct research to provide practical
information to federal and local decision makers needed to formulate development policy in the
National Capital Region (NCR). We partner with other federal agencies, local governments,
